 Upcoming Changes to Roofing Renewals for Your State Fund Clients 

Providing accurate and up-to-date information for your State Fund clients is essential to get a fair price on all renewal business and avoid unexpected bills at the end of the policy period. We recommend sending your renewal updates 60 days prior to renewal.

 

For your State Fund roofing clients, requirements were established last year to ensure that payroll estimates, and number of employees, aligned with the scope and scale of their roofing operation.

 

To collect this information, State Fund introduced a roofing supplemental application for new roofing business to report correct exposures, which allows for determination and timely collection of accurate premium for employers operating in this industry.

 

On June 1st, the roofing supplemental application will also be required for roofing renewals. State Fund’s dedicated Roofing Underwriting team is reaching out to policyholders with roofing operations currently undergoing renewal to request the supplemental application, giving the policyholder enough time to fulfill the requirement and avoid any potential non-renewal. Although roofing renewals are not eligible for auto renewal, you can still prepare by providing any updated information to Access State Fund, your official State Fund Access Partner.
