Cancellation Guidelines Reminder 

Please review cancellations guidelines for Digital Homeowners policies

All Markets (Amwins Access Alpha, Munich Re, & Vave)

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted within 30 days of the requested cancellation date.
  • A settlement document is required with risk sold cancellation requests.

Flat Cancellations

  • Alpha & Munich Re: Honored within 72 hours of policy effective date or issuance
    • Policy fees fully earned after 72 hours
  • Vave: Honored within 30 days of policy effective date

Minimum Earned Premium

  • Alpha:
    • Wind risks in FL, GA, NC, SC, TX may be subject to the USA Hurricane Endorsement which applies a 75% Minimum Earned Premium.
  • Munich Re & Vave:
    • 25% Minimum Earned Premium applies to all insured-requested cancellations
