We were recently informed of a data security breach experienced by State Fund’s former vendor, IMPAXX (previously NuQuest), which may have exposed the personal information of approximately 25,000 injured workers with claims State Fund administered for Medicare set-aside services. To date, IMPAXX has reported no incidents of identity theft or fraud related to this breach.
We wanted to share the letter prepared by IMPAXX, which they sent on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 to individuals affected by the breach, in the unlikely event you hear of any questions or concerns from your State Fund clients. As the letter indicates, please direct all questions directly to IMPAXX at their toll-free number, (833) 215-3615, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST.
