State Fund Safety Grant Update:

More Policyholders Now Eligible for Funds 

State Fund is continuing their efforts to put crucial safety equipment into the hands of their policyholders. Within the past two years, the State Fund Safety Equipment Grants Program has awarded 1,700 policyholders more than $9 million to purchase safety equipment for their employees who work at heights.

New eligible industries

We’re happy to share that State Fund has expanded the program to include additional class codes in several new industries:

• Asbestos Abatement (5473)
• Door Frame/Window Install (5107)
• Glaziers Outside (5467)
• Janitorial Services (9008) 
• Lathing (5443)
• Masonry (5027, 5028)
• Orchards (0016,0045)
• Plastering/Stucco Work (5484, 5485)
• Termite Work (5650)

Policyholders with effective dates that started on or after October 1, 2025, have already been invited to apply for the grant. State Fund will continue extending invitations to eligible policyholders between now and October 1, 2026.

New limit on grants. To focus on providing equipment to policy holders who haven't yet received funds, businesses who have received  the grant twice are not eligible for a third. But, if your clients have only received the grant once, please enourge them to apply agiain.
